When I first met the mother of this boy in 2016 I was stunned! Such a beautiful blue colour, stunning movement, perfect construction plus the temperament I loved! When Maria Teresa later asked if she could use my Bruce for her I was more than happy and hoped for a blue dog for myself. When the blue boy was born it was to be mine from day one, and was therefore called Ritorno al Nord, Return to the North.
Rio is a calm and relaxed fellow who loves food and would do anything for that. When he was younger he let his sister bully him, but now it's him who says the last word. They play together 24/ 7 and are each other's best friends. Rio has matured slowly and is looking great at 4 years! He has been to a few shows and he has gained Finnish Champion title. Our plans to campaign him this year were postponed due to this unfortunate COVID-19 situation, so we have to be patient.
Rio is a great stud like his dad. His first litter was born in May 2020, 6 puppies, Crofter's Only Man- litter.
His second litter was born in Ryffenuff collies in May 2021, 8 puppies, 6 bitches (3 blm, 3 tri) and 2 males (1 blm, 1 tri).
I'm more than grateful to Maria Teresa for letting me have this beautiful boy and also his sister Rhea <3
